Condition changes the comparison.

New, used, open-box and refurbished describe different buying situations. Keep them in separate groups before looking at price. A used price is not a discount against a new price unless the difference in condition is made explicit.

What to look closer at

Refurbished is not one universal standard. Look for who did the work, what was tested, the described condition, included accessories and the written warranty or return terms. Missing information should stay visible.
