FALSE MAP / Outdoor equipment

Size and fit are part of the match.

A product family can span several capacities, sizes and generations. For a pack, note capacity and fit; for clothing, note the size system and cut. A similar-looking item may be a different version.

What to look closer at

For used equipment, read the description of wear, repairs and missing parts. Photos alone may not establish waterproofing or remaining useful life. Do not infer safety performance from a low price or a familiar brand.
